As a part of this Certification you will:

Learn about a practical approach to identifying potential talent, succession planning and designing career development programs.
Learn about developmental applications, including one-on-one coaching and targeted workshops that you can customize and deliver to your clients.
Receive train-the-trainer materials for three seminar applications: Leading Self, Leading Others and Leading Leaders.

Learn how to utilize ASSESS summary reports to guide team and organizational effectiveness.

 


Certification Agenda

The seminar consists of an intensive 2 day workshop and two pre-workshop assessments. Prior to the workshop, participants will have the opportunity to complete the ASSESS Personality Survey via the Web at their convenience (approximately 45 to 60 minutes). In addition, each participant can participate in the ASSESS 360 process, which collects confidential feedback from multiple raters (self, boss, peers, direct reports, customers).


Part ONE: Talent Management Using ASSESS

On this part of the workshop, we will discuss strategic talent management and introduce stages of organizational development. Participants will then spend the rest of the day gaining in-depth knowledge about the ASSESS Expert System, including receiving their own results.

Part TWO: Development Applications

Part 2 will focus on a series of applications designed to target each developmental stage of the individual: Leading Self (Individual Contributor), Leading Others (Manager), and Leading Leaders (Manager of Managers). The session will focus on different delivery formats, including one-on-one coaching, workshops/seminars, and hybrids, tailored to the organization. Topics are supported by practice and case studies to enhance learning.

      - Introduction to Applications/Considerations
      - Overview of ASSESS Development Toolkit
      - One-on-one Coaching
      - Developmental Workshops/Seminars
             ~ Targeted toward individual contributors, managers, and leaders
             ~ Includes train-the-trainer materials and resources

             ~ Seminar with follow-up coaching
             ~ Three way meetings with consultant, participant and manager
      - Organizational Development
             ~ Utilizing ASSESS summary reports
             ~ Facilitating “manager as coach” sessions to help managers better
                 coach direct reports

Part THREE: Succession Planning/Designing Development Programs

On part 3, participants will focus on developing a succession planning approach for the organization utilizing assessment tools. Later in the day, the seminar will close with case studies targeted to designing a career development program based on an organization’s needs and implementation challenges.
